Cabana and Pool Area Beautification
Recent cabana and pool-area improvements continue the association's effort to make common areas cleaner, more welcoming, and better maintained for Surrey Ridge residents.
What Was Updated
Director Julia Cross coordinated additional cabana and pool-area beautification focused on visible, practical improvements around the cabana and former Jacuzzi-area wall.
- The former Jacuzzi-area cinder block perimeter wall was repaired where cracks were present and painted to create a cleaner backdrop for the new planting area.
- Three new trellises were installed to support climbing growth and give the new Mandevilla vines structure as they mature.
- Fresh mulch, decorative edging, and cabana-side fencing were added to define and protect the planting beds.
- New plantings along the wall include SunPatiens, Foxtail ferns, Aztec Grass, and Mandevilla vines.
- Near the cabana, the planting area includes Knock Out Roses, Aztec Grass, Aloe, and existing Bromeliads.
Why It Matters
These upgrades are part of broader curb-appeal and common-area stewardship work. Small improvements like clean wall surfaces, defined beds, healthier plantings, and structured climbing vines make the pool area feel more cared for while supporting long-term property-value and amenity goals.
